Recycling for Schools Competitions Terms and Conditions
1. Our Recycling for Schools competition is open to all UK residents aged between
5 and 18. The closing date for entries is 5pm, 30th November 2014.
2. Entrants must ask for their parent/guardian’s permission to enter the competition.
3. The entrant’s parent/guardian is deemed to have accepted these T&Cs when agreeing
to the entrant’s application.
4. Entrants can choose to name either one or all of the recycling characters, but
only one entry per person must be submitted.
5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
6. Entry to the competition is by completing the entry form on the Recycling for
Schools competition page. All entries must include the entrant’s name, age, address
and their parent/guardian’s telephone number.
7. The winning character names will be chosen by the Recycling for Schools’ team
– parents/guardians of the winning entrants will be contacted by telephone between
the 30th November and 6th December 2014. If a parent/guardian cannot be contacted
after reasonable attempts have been made or an entrant is found to be in breach
of the competition rules, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner
and pick a replacement winner.
8. The Recycling for Schools’ team will choose the best entry for each character
based on creativity and originality. If an entrant’s character name is chosen, they
will win an iPad mini. Winners will only win one iPad mini, even if more than one
of their character names is chosen.
9. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize
with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
10. The decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final
and no correspondence relating to such decision will be entered into.
11. By allowing the entrant to take part in this competition, the entrant’s parent/guardian
is giving consent for the entry to be used by The Recycling Factory for all purposes,
including use in print and on the Recycling for Schools website. The entrant’s parent/guardian
is also agreeing for the entrant’s name to be used in any publicity material, including
the website and social media. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other
entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation
and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
12. Employees of Recycling for Schools or any other division of Dynamic Cassette
International, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the
competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
13. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and
conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants
as soon as possible.
14. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated
with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
15. Recycling for Schools is part of The Recycling Factory, a division of Dynamic
